I think this is the short-term solution until Jf-17 and whatever else PAF buys starts arriving in significant numbers by 2k8.

f7mf is based on v.mature tech and can be easily mass produced with current infrastructure in china..and the project is going for many years..PAK is just comming in now..so i think a production version can be mass produced by ~2006. and there maybe ~60 by 2008. The thing is PAF has long-term plans..but short term solutions as I see are f-16s..( :-/ ), more f-7s pgs, and f-7mfs…mf’s being the most effective solution.

one thing article clears up is china doesnt wants mf, so thats makes the chances fc-1 in chinese service stronger…

The original F-7 series fighter aircraft airborne radar approach only can install in the diameter narrow and small air inlet rectification awl, the radar scanning antenna size receives the strict limit. F-7MF after transfers to the air intake 机腹, the radar cabin allows the equipment the radar scanning antenna diameter to surpass 1,000 millimeters. Definitely may select the Chinese self-restraint the newest advanced fire control radar takes the standard equipment. By Chinese many research institutes, the factory jointly develop the successful radar for the multi-purpose pulse Doppler radar, may guide the many kinds of missiles, it to radar-reflecting cross section is 3 square meters goals search/track distances, 前半球 surpasses 160 kilometers, the latter hemisphere is 80 kilometers. It also has regards, under regards the ability, may simultaneously track 12 goals, and can guide to be apart from air-to-air missile simultaneously to attack 4 goals, this has entrusted with outside the F-7MF apparent distance the air fight ability. F-7MF also improved the airborne avionics, replaced the new radar cooling system, the circuitry, the flight parameter recording system, the weapon management system management system, the GPS guidance system and the multi-purpose cabin monitor. And revises the wing for with annihilates -7MG same “the pair 三角翼” and around the reason mobile flap, further enhanced time its short-range wrestle resourcefulness

wow! this radar thing sounds unreal honestly…but..chinese 😀

I think those type of Short SSMs like the Prithvi-III are good if you’re invading the country where they can be used for MANY different purposes, much liket the Iskander, as that baby can do ALOT and of different damage and is very accurate. However for keeping something like enemy airfields out of operation will require longer ranged SSMs which have large warheads and are accurate on top of all that, I mean as long as you can disable an airfield which operates aircraft whose range is not sufficient enough to operate in your territory from that airfield. For example if the enemy has an aircraft with long range such as the Flanker, you must have a long ranged SSM to hit that airfield and keep it out of operation in a range where the Flanker will have to be forced to operate from some other father airfield where it won’t be able to reach your assets and/or be used in an effective manner.

Yeah, but it depends where the missiel hits the airbase….1 ton will do a bigggg explosion..but may not be just effective if the planes are in bunkers..but in war, they’re all queued in run ways..the missile may not find a plane on the airbase.
