Well Indians seem to be getting funding for everything else but LCA? ….You do have tendency to do lots of foriegn investment when it comes to defence matters 😉 despite having claimed that local product is superior and far more cost effective.

The LCA is also cheaper than other 4th gen fighters..and why did you even mention 5th gen fighter(s?)?? so it simply does not needs as much investment as other fighters. This is no excuse, the dates been pushed back to 2009….by the time it comes into service..it’ll be lagging behind Gripen.

And ppl still need to prove that the economies of scale for LCA have been maximised and its at the optimum level.
