Have the two blocks been skidded together yet? I thought it was happening between Xmas and New Year.
Errr….OK. Do you have any infocus photos?
I’ve never seen one carrying a Maverick. They fire off the rail so they couldn’t be carried on the belly and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Tornado carry anything but tanks on the wing hard point. For the RAF the overlap between the Maverick and the Brimstone would mean there is no real need for it.
Does anyone remember the old Golden Hour LP from the 70’s…..Sounds of the Aeroplane at War? That had recordings of lots of planes, some quite obscure. It also included a track called Thousand Bomber Raid with the sound of bombers starting, taking off and the flying into the distance.
What happens if they pick the F-35B and go STOVL, then after the US elections the F-35 is canned? Are there any other planes on the planet that could be used with ski jumps and no arrestor gear…apart from buying back some third hand Harriers
When will it appear in your iPad app?
When will it appear in your iPad app?
Looks like an ASRAAM
This sounds like a bad joke.. How is it even possible this hook-thing wasnt discoverd untill now??
Being able to land on a carrier deck should be priority No.1 for a carrier based fighter in my book…
Perhaps they thought taking off was the No.1 priority……probably didn’t get around to No.2
I thought Operation Ruby was a test of Tall Boy and Grandslam on reinforced targets after the war was over?
Forgive the dumb question but when will the decision announced as to which plane has won?
How does a lump of metal catch fire?
