I’ve never seen one carrying a Maverick. They fire off the rail so they couldn’t be carried on the belly and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Tornado carry anything but tanks on the wing hard point. For the RAF the overlap between the Maverick and the Brimstone would mean there is no real need for it.

What happens if they pick the F-35B and go STOVL, then after the US elections the F-35 is canned? Are there any other planes on the planet that could be used with ski jumps and no arrestor gear…apart from buying back some third hand Harriers

Being able to land on a carrier deck should be priority No.1 for a carrier based fighter in my book…

Perhaps they thought taking off was the No.1 priority……probably didn’t get around to No.2
