Thank you to everyone for your nice comments!
I said I would post the pictures from Cuetro also, but my computer has decided in this past week to crash on me. So I have now lost all the pictures! Going to get it looked over in the next few weeks and hopefully restore all my lost files in which case I will post them then.
But regardless, thanks once again for look and for your comments. Much appreciated 😀
Thanks for the comments guys!
Wasn’t too bad, the sun gave me a nice basis to replenish my tan in Madrid next month. Lets face it, won’t get that from UK weather!
Cheers again
I would love to say I am not jealous, but I am. Incredibly. Wonderful set of pictures! Cheers for sharing.
Very nice shots Rob! I have just literally finished going through and re-editing my pics from DUS back in 09 and they made me think, “hmm maybe I might go back there this year”
After seeing your shots, I am now seriously considering it! Great job!
Josh
Those are some cracking shots. Good job!
Or better still, ask on that forum?
I liked Reus…..
For mine, probably easier just to check my Flightdiary, http://flightdiary.net/joshrice
Thats a good site also, recommend it to people…
As for my favorite/best I will have to say Colombo, although there isn’t a great deal going on there and spotting is strictly prohibited, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the facilities.
Thanks all for the nice comments!
Would really recommend it for anybody who is looking for somewhere to go spotting, and the guys at Roma Spotters are really helpful and made me feel welcome all day!
As for the weather, I was loving life….
Me in shorts and tee, them dressed up for the winter, says it all really!
Regards!

And thats the lot. Hope you enjoyed. Would really recommend a visit there! Great spots and really friendly locals that make you feel welcome!
Cheers. Off to Rome this afternoon for a few days, hopefully the sun there will give me some better shots!
Its not true, we may be able to facilitate the aircraft, but the only stands capable at the moment are the new remotes built the otherside of the Virgin hanger. Won’t be happening yet, thats all i can say
If a takeover or merge with bmi is possible, do you think it would have much of an effect? Personally, I don’t.
I agree with you Mike. Both BA and BD cater to very different destinations from LHR. BD mainly serve mid-haul routes to the Middle East and Central Asia, with a few domestics and Europeans too. The overlap of BA/BD is very minimal that even if BD/VS did merge the impact would be nowt. Just a large slot holder at Heathrow really, which i suppose you could argue could be used to launch more transatlantic flights to compete with the others.
A merge with BD is really something that is unlikely to happen anytime soon, however, VS joining an alliance is a completely different story as it offers far more to them. Star probably being the best fit with CO and US, as well as BD.
Are Easyjet ridding of the 737’s ?
Are you being serious?
I maybe being a bit simple but I’m not understanding the business model he’s after? Just feeding Istanbul with as many European destinations as possible? Because that won’t work in building them up to be the biggest airline in the world…
Istanbul is just a bit too close to Europe (thus putting itself out of range) to make itself another Emirates with connections onto Asia and Oceania and simply would not work as a hub for connecting European passengers…
In a way your correct, however from what i understand, they believe they are positioned well enough to connect into Asia and the Sub-Continent well, but the main advantage is that they will be able to operate from IST to many smaller airports that would be unsustainable to the likes of EK. For example. TK could operate say BRS-BOM via IST with the BRS-IST leg being on a 737-800, making it far more sustainable than a daily 330-200. The smaller aircraft enables them to use the smaller airports, obviously and so yeah, thats where i believe they are coming from.
erm……ok?
