Not a very Happy chappy from Glasgow 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁
The 3rd one is MAN.
I thought that one looked like yours. And the last one like RABs? Or Jamies?
look guys i mite have got them muddled up but let me have a look at my database and i’ll get back to you’s and remeber i’m only 13.
Hmm ok and how are we suppost to know this, and whats the big deal if your just 13. Im 14.
They never did but that’s a 767-400 which did operate to GLA but not for a couple of years since they went twice daily with the 757’s.
For goodness sake ‘Hoodlum’ how thick do you think we are ?
Ah ok my bad.
But the CO does still look like a LGW shot.
Haha. This isnt an aviation forum for nothing. Us guys know our stuff. Almost :diablo:
Josh
Your not the only one Paul. Since when has US Airways had 3 flights into glasgow a day. Notice, one of them is a 767, 2 are 757s but one has winglets and the other doesnt. And since when has continental flown into GLA with there 777s?
Plus i didnt know that GLAs ramp was that big. And that Dragon air Cargo flew into there!(Third Pic)
i was just wondering, no need to get protective
Nice shots. Although the second one looks like its from LGW and the thrid from MAN 😀 What camera do you use?
Josh
Hey Jon,
As said above about the E195s. There will begin flying to LGW in october.
It will be a shame to see you go RAB, but its your choice. All the best!
Josh
Thanks Lads.
Yeah i found that airliners are really fusy, but just allways send them in!!! LOL
Again, thanks
Thanks guys. Sure is a great feeling. Hopefully more soon! James, my camera is a Kodak Easyshare Z710! Good old photoshop eh?
Josh
Great shots jason. Glad you enjoyed your day!
Wow dan! Those shots are amazing. I was tempted to make the second air-air one my desktop background. but i cant as this is my mums laptop 🙁 Looks like you did your job well then.
In relation to my previous thread about the possible sale of LGW, I have heard from several sources that a lot of the American based airlines that are currently restricted to using LGW, until the the recently agreed Open Skies takes effect, have managed to obtain slots at LHR through negotiating with their alliance partners, and was wondering what effect (if any) this will have on LGW in the future…
I know for sure that Northwest Airlines are definately planning to move their daily MSP/DTW services, and I would not be suprised to see both U.S Airways and Continental also take-up some slots at LHR as well.
I also know that BA are reducing their services to the USA in time for the move to Terminal 5, so I am kind of hoping that VS might look to expand to a few more destinations (LGW-JFK/SFO/LAX please!) or I assume that EZY and/or FR will probaly take the opportunity to expand even more…
Anyone got any thoughts about this at all?
Well as you say all the American Carriers are shifting over to LHR. You have to respect tht really. But in around 5 years time we may see the return of carriers such as Ethiopian, Transaero plus other carriers like TAM, Jet Airways and a few others. As they could sell there high priced slots at LHR for cheaper ones at LGW. This is only a possiblity.
But almost certainly LGW will see a large Low cost growth with airlines like Oasis Hong Kong Starting similar flights. And i think we can say that Ryanair will start a few destinations(Maybe the ones they plan on dropping from Stansted). Plus Clickair are going to be all LGW at some point. And we may even see Vueling etc who are currently only flying to mainland Europe.
I think some more Virgin routes would be nice. But in my opinion they would most likly go to LHR:(
Josh
I was the one who gave you the directions,(With tash and goatie)and not the one kicking stones down the hill ,he was not aiming to hit the cars either ,he was just being daft.
G-ANPK
Ah ok i know. I thought the aim was to hit the cars:rolleyes:
Nice shots Josh ,but did you manage to get to Battersea Heliport ?
G-ANPK
Ah hey, are you the chap me and my mate asked then? Who are you, the one lobing rocks down the hill to hit cars(which i later joined in doing) or the chap laughing at him:p . Well to cut story short, we really couldnt be fu**ed to bother looking. So we just headed back as we were both exhausted:dev2:
But thanks for the directions. Next time we head north(to city soon hopefully) we shall try. Also thanks for your kind words.
