Nice news from Ryanair
If they are going to keep on getting New A/C why dont they open routes into Turkey Cyprus Isareal Egypt Greece
Ryanair wont expand into those markets for along time yet. And even then. You can count Cyprus, Egypt and Israel out of that. Its just to far for there Liking. Also were are they going to serve from Cyprus. Its a holiday destination, Nearly everyone that flys through there is on a package. Again with Egypt, its just too far out from there network. And Israel, I dont think there would be enough demand, and i doubt the Israeli government would allow them to fly there, as they wouldnt want to put the flag carrier at risk.

Great shots mate!!!

I dont know if i have missed something but where has the doncaster rumour come from?
There is no logical sense at all opening a base or just having the odd flight from dsa, mainly becuase they will be competing against themselves at lba, man and ncl!!! They would be mad moving into TOM territory as that is a well known brand around there and i suspect jet2 is a less well known brand!
And no way would they go from no flights straight to a 767 at dsa!! there are no establised customers and destiantions from dsa that could sustain a 767 with jet2, even if this rumour was true (hope not!! ) then surely they wouls start ops with a 733?
regarding long haul, in a simple yes/no answer are places like SFB, JFK, POP, DXB within a range of a 767 (or 757????) from lba? I guess there would be no issues with getting a 767 to alc or pmi from lba?
I dont know were the DSA rumor came from. It wouldnt work. Im sure if Jet2 were to go long haul, they wouldnt take the risk and fly from DSA. Insted they would fly from MAN.
But in my honest opinion, i dont think these 767s(if they come around) will be used for long haul for a long while yet. I, myself, feel they would fly them on there tenerife routes for more capacity, meaning the 757s could be put onto other routes such as, PFO/LCA Egypt and Greece. So maybe, Jet22 states, they are going to fly to Cyprus, but with a 757. This is just my view.
Josh
Wow great shots Rich. Very clear
May I ask what they were?
Hey Cal,
Welcome to the forums.
Flyglobespan are a scotish based Low-cost airline. Im not sure if they have much problems with there short haul, but there long haul. Its all over the place. They got 2 767s but then leased them out to Air India. And they now have had to lease 2 767s themselves from Neos. There aircraft always are going tech, and they fly to America(Orlando etc) on 738s:eek: Hope that helps you a bit
Josh
Nice shots Paul.
Like the one with the old chap sitting on the wall with the LS 737 on approach.
