I remember a book that had a written transcript of possibly Bader’s last engagement over France – I can’t remember which book it was . . .do any of these survive ? If there is a transcript that survives what else would it reveal ?
These would be recordings then I expect, or not ?

“The plane (Serial number 1289) is on display at the National War Museum in Johannesburg. It is not restored and shows up with the damages, caused by an crashlanding at Udimor/England. It was delivered to JG 26 in 1939, marked as “SH + EA”. During its time with the JG 26 it was painted as “black 2”.

The SAAF Museum in Johannesburg, South Africa, has a well preserved Me 109 that was recovered from the English Chanel in 1940. It is quite complete and has been well restored . . .let me find a link . . .
