Im abit lost now, there is a twin engined bomber on the coast which is known about and is a Blenheim? (what state is this in?)
and now there is another one which the original enquiry was for a possible B25? but hasnt been verified yet.
…………is that right?
sorry i have no info
but the wreckage sounds quite substantial with a world with not enough Halifax’s in!
The hurricane dispaly is a great piece.
anything else recovered?
are you extending your halifax project? 😀
thanks for the interesting website for TIGHAR
Wow interesting stuff to possible have another aircraft revealed.
Do these come round in three’s perhaps???? 😀
this news had a paragraph in the sun newspaper today
Im hoping i can make it, fingers crossed. 🙂
anyone going over to be an extra? 😀
the section used on the YAM Halifax came from Linton-om-Ouse and was trawled up from an underwater wreck.
Was the section trawled up by accident or was it already a known wreck cees?
which halibag is that from?
judging by the pic some kind of wing backdrop to a cross i think.
i think hes after the authentic colours for it.
Not the entire aircraft but an aircraft that should of been saved!!!!
cheers for that, im at Frimley Park for the week and Sandhurst is over the road with Aldershot near by. Pity about the paras museum being moved.
cheers for the pointers!
Ive been meaning to get the Osprey book on sabres, is that the same one?
I have found some accounts of the RAF and FAA involved in the conflict just not involved with the MIGs.
interesting
cheers for that! 😉
