    Yes she gonna get a repaint she is staying in cammo but going back into the markings she had on 5 sqd

    I belive that the repaint was a bit of a rush job to get it ready for RAIT im sure that something would have been done to the undercariage if they had had the time

    I dont meen to be picky but this will be the only completly original halifax in the world i would include the halifax at elvington as a halifax as in is mainly a composite of various halifax parts.

    Ok so as most of the people on this thred seem to know what is going on at duxford what is happening to the Mk 1 Victor this being to only surviving Mk 1 someting must be done to save it and soon. I had heard that museum members were working on it but i dont know if this is true.

    Any more info anyone

    Ok her are a few answers

    The rear fuselage has been at doncaster for a couple of months

    It did come from skysports and was used in night flight

    It didnt go to florida with the rest of the aircraft because it was too badly damaged by the hanger colapse and the rear fuselarge from the lincoln is to be used insted.

    The p-38 under the ice is glacer girl and she is now flying in the US so no rumor there its TRUE.

    Lightning dose look good shame its an F.53 and not a uk lightning. Ant you want to have a go at dismantaling a lightning properly its great fun (not).

    My F.3 is a former LTF aircraft but i dont recall seeing a LTF F.6 in green/grey camo only in grey

    I dont think the experiance side of things makes a differance ive worked on the victor at elvington for a couple of years with guys who worked on them in the RAF and you learna hell of a lot from them.

    i do have a soft spot for the victor as well but also like vampire and a f-86/mig-15 duo would be nice
