Hi Guys
I was around Goxhill a couple of months ago and 3 local guys were rebuilding the wall around the memorial as a bunch of the the local young idiots had been messing around in there cars and crashed into it, they missed the memorial but flattened the wall.
Would that be the path along the edge of the golf course by any chance 🙂
Hi All
David
As the owner of the F.3 i dont think 706 will ever go inside. The Museum has a lot of it’s own aircraft that need to be undercover too, and there aircarft come first. And if 706 does ever go inside we would have to refit the fin once she was inside as she wont go through the hangar doors with it fitted.

Hi All
Expanding on what Andy was saying about fuel consumption being at 7 Gallons per second i did a bit of working out. Figures are based on the F.6
Wing Tank + Leading Edge Tank 320 Gallons x2
Flap Tank 33 Gallons x 2
Forward Ventral Tank 250 Gallons
Central Ventral Tank 255 Gallons
Rear Ventral Tank 110 Gallons
Total = 1321 Gallons
If I did the maths right this would work out at 3 mins and 9 seconds….But some of the fuel in the tanks is not usable and i cant find the figures for that so a rough figure of 3 mins till your out of gas !!!!!!
If you fitted the overwing tanks that would give u an extra 540 Gallons or…. 1 min 17 seconds !
So you wont go far at full chat
