the Canso
The Canso at around 4:07 looks to be the one near Tofino on Vancouver Island. Crashed on take off sometime in ’44 I think. Have to look up the RCAF numbers.
You should have seen this Hampden when it was pulled from Approx 600 feet of water back in the seventies or eightys. These guys have done a fantastic job. It sat there for around 40 years, air still in tires and markings still readable.
But…apparently it was damaged a few years ago from snow weight after a huge snow storm. Hopefully they can get it back to where it was.
Miss Winnie Pooh?
I knew this was an April fools joke, winnie was definately a very macho dude and would never have undergone a change operation. After all, he was a Canadian bear.

Radial Mossie?
Mark, are those photos for real? or is this a “fool Someone like me”?
If real what engines were used?
The aircraft looks kind of neat with the round engines.
Thanks
Warren
Looks Great. When can I order a t-shirt or sweatshirt?
Great Video but questions
Fantastic to see another in the air. Great video. Like the camera mounted on the vertical stabilizer.
Questions though; the flaps appear to be partially down. Is this usual?
And at times there appears to be white smoke coming from the port wing root. Again, is this usual?
Thank you
WFU?
Please educate this poor slob

“she sure was naking a hard job of getting were she was going !”
This has just reminded me of something I heared over here (East Yorkshire) this afternoon. i never saw it, but wondered if it may have been a Russian caro aircraft.
It could have been an Electra mail flight.
Maybe, just Maybe the Electra purchased by Buffalo Air from Atlantic Air headed for Yellowknife. Apparently this weeks Ice Pilots has some more on this aircraft being prepared for the ferry flight. At least thats what the TV guide shows for here in Canada.

Chipmunk Canopies
Probably asked before but…
Does anyone know why the Canopies in British built Chipmunks is so different from those built in Canada? Personally I like the bubble type better and having flown one a couple of times I found the visibility excellent.
Thanks

Porsche pics
Mattias, hello from west coast of Canada. While I am a warbird nut I am also a Porsche nut. Can you show some pictures of that beautiful little cabriolet that sometimes show up in the background. In my misspent youth I had a ’58 coupe for awhile and I still miss it.
Thanks

Any chance to Harvard/AT6 were used in “Von Ryans Express” I think starring good old blue eyes himself. Frank Sinatra?
Re reply #3
CF-BXO, I believe is the “boat” now residing in Hendon. She was restored to flying by a CBC weatherman named Bob Fortune and flown quite a lot around coastal BC before being boxed up and shipped to the “old country”. This is the one I played on as a kid.
Many thanks for the pics.

Sorry Stepwilk but I found your responses to be insulting at the least. Not everybody may have your internet savvy or would be thinking the same as you when making simple inquiries, which I personally feel is one of the purposes of this forum. EDUCATION..

Mossie restoration
I understand another is being restored to fly near Victoria BC, Canada.
Don’t know much about it except the owner is in Vancouver.
