Why?

Equilibrium – this was good! I managed to fall asleep, however, right near the end! 🙁

This has been on my DVD shelf for ages.I’ve closely followed Christian Bales films since Empire Of The Sun.He’s come a long way from (difficult boy)Jim to (a very acceptible)Bruce Wayne.This is a very “stylish” film,mostly due to the costume designer Joseph Porro.If you’ve seen Ultraviolate,The Thirteenth Floor(one of my fave films), or Stargate,you would have seen the individualism he bought to each.If you enjoyed Brazil,1984,Fahrenheit 451 or Bladerunner,then look forward to watching CB’s portrayal of Cleric John Preston.The gun Katas are great.The music’s not bad either,especially the inclusion of a bit of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony :cool:Fave quote is JP “When we return from the Nether,it always reminds me of why we do what we do.”

Didn’t write them down but a few which come to mind are The Thirtynine Steps,The Birds,The Wicker Man,12 Monkeys,Eraserhead,Jaws(of course),The House Of Wax,Children Of The Corn,A Nightmare On Elm Street(too easy),Haloween.Didn’t save the game though,so will have to start from the begining next time 😡

I got 26 after 45 mins.As you said,some are VERY hard 😡

Children Of Men

Highly recommended.Set in a future that is totally believable.You don’t know how beautiful the sound of a baby’s cry is untill you see this film.IMHO,the best film this year.
