I really do believe this picture was taken at OW.

After thinking long and hard about this,I have to agree that the three ship flypast WAS at Old Warden.As I`ve stated before,I only had an interest in a few planes,and the type I was interested in just didn`t turn up there.Loads`a fairly interesting “old stuff” but nothing to get too excited about compared to Mildenhall in it`s hey-day!My kind of planes don`t take off or land on grass !!!!!!
So I went along with my usuall mates for ” just a nice sunny afternoon ” watching a few planes,but with NO camera gear !.Just how did I feel when my most prized planes appeared 😮 I had to rely on my very good friend Stuart Clark for the picture of the three ship formation that is soon to be posted. 😮

G-HUNT and G-FIRE

Hi guys,sorry to but in,but I can remember a time that I was fanatical about G-FIRE.I found out that Spencer Flack ran a “haulage/repair” company based out of an airfield,the whereabouts I just can`t remember.I wrote to him,asking if I,and a couple of friends,could take some photo`s of her as I intended to build a detailed model.He was most accomodating,acceding to my request.
Upon arrival,we were directed by his secutary to our target.For over an hour the three of us “clicked away” covering every detail of her.
Also,when G-HUNT was grounded at Biggen Hill,I blagged my way into walking over to her and again took loads of pictures.At a different time,I also recall shooting a couple of rolls on G-FURY at the same location as G-FIRE.
This is where the problem begins.Since capturing them on film,I have moved several times,and as anyone knows,things get left in boxes if they are not that important “at the time”.If anyone is interested in these photos,let me know and I`ll try to dig them out BUT I will need help getting them in to “cyber-space” because I don`t have a scanner,etc.
Thanks to the guy for posting the picture of all three ships together.I WAS there,and again,I can`t remember where it was.My excuse is is that I liked planes but wasn`t a “geek”,not making notes where I was at the time.No offense intended.
