On DVD-Iron Man.One of the better “super hero” films to date,especially as this one is self made.Jeff Bridges plays a great baddie and Gwyneth Paltrow shines as the uber P.A.Looking forward to the next installment.Keep watching through the credits.Did somebody mention Avengers?:diablo:

Again on DVD-Indy 4 TKOTCS.Finally I can enjoy this film in all it’s sonic glory on my home system (I first saw it at the pictures in Dublin which had a really bad audio set up).I reckon Mr Ford is handing over to Mr LaBeouf,but it was great to see Ray Winston as the semi-baddie,Cate Blanchett doing a passable russian accent and Karen Allen reprising her former role with gusto.Another addition to my Saturday Morning Pictures list.

Dragged my sorry backside down to my local Odeon at 10:30 this morning to see Danny Craig’s latest 007 offering TQOS.The story starts soon after Casino Royale left off so I recommend that you watch the DVD before seeing this “sequel”? The action kicks in straight away with a car chase,which,for me like all the other action scenes,are hard to follow,due to the very hard jump-cut editing.
Craig’s Bond,in this story,is nothing like we’ve been used to before.Hard,unfeeling(apart from Vesper) and totally self centered I.E. REVENGE.
The story drags BUT the action scenes are well up to scratch.Don’t bother waiting until the end of the credits to leave the cinema as there are no “extras” tagged onto the end.
