    From what I heard, the PA got lost?!?!?!?! There was PA for the washed out Dambusters Event in May, so I can’t understand why they would have it this time. They have in the past. This was the second scheduled fly-in at Brooklands. One was meant to be held in May, but was cancelled at the last moment, and I don’t know why.

    I don’t think this event was being run as a major event in their calendar, but more as an exercise. There was no extra charge to get in, it remained at normal museum rates. It may be different when larger Aviation events are run in the furture.

    It seemed to be a test for the crews as while the Vanguard was being run up thier seemed to be a Safety Inspector (from the CAA?) commented on how things should be running to the organiser. The Fire team were also going through drills while the airfield was closed at lunch.
