For those that might be interested I enquired about the Lightning last July and the details I received were:
No Engines
No Instruments
18,000 Euros
Needless to say that was the end of the enquiry way over priced in my eyes.
Cheers
Dave
Thanks for the comments guys as I say if it wasn’t for a fellow Lightning fan this might never have reached the masses 🙂
If anyone else out there has anything similar they would like to air please get in contact my webhosting company gives me more bandwidth and disk space than I know what to do with 🙂

i
1..to have seen and heard a EE Lightning in the air.. though i can just remember them being in service.. i never had the pleasure of seeing one.
OK so they will not actually be in the air on the 8th of July but go down to LPG at Brunty to feel the awesome afterburning power of their two beauties 😀
Dave
I also have a section on my website dedicated to the Lightning located here:

If anyone would like to help me fill the gaps in the production and preserved lists it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Dave

Any idea where it is now ??
Thanks guys as you can see I am currently living in the Netherlands so have lost touch a little with whats going on over in the UK however keeping the list upto date is proving harder than I thought.
OK so my initial searches didn’t find this museum on the forum but now seems that it has infact closed, but any help with my Lightning survivors would still be appreciated 🙂
