I agree, but thats what I meant by Kermits problem. Too many projects.

As I said before, its a trade off. If Kermit hadn’t stepped in we might all be here moaning about the Lancaster we scrapped in the ’80s. At least the thing is in a dry, stable environment for Kermit, or whoever, to restore when the time arises.

My only concern is that Kermit is in his 60s, and ultimately will be slowing down a bit. Without being morbid you do have to wonder just how many of these projects will be finished and how many will never be seen again.

Plus, I suppose if you really want to see the Lanc again you could make him an offer you couldn’t refuse. Maybe trade that Beverley for it?!?!

I feel a little uneasy about this video. Drug runners have been blackmailed into doing the dirty work, so I don’t know what the back story is with this pilot. For all we know his family was tied up somewhere and he had to make the run to ensure their survival? Its a murky world, and some of the vitriol directed at the downed airman seems a little unfair. As far as the video shows he was unarmed, and flying for his life. The guys making the real money off the drugs runs won’t be anywhere within a thousand miles of this little scene.

The photographer forfeited that right as soon as he uploaded them to Facebook. The tricky bit can be to unpick the html and get the images back out of Facebook.
