    God summer was only around 2 weeks ago,my birthday has only just passed and we are talking about Christmas?!?!There are plent of things to look forward to then before then!

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-09-02 AT 06:40 PM (GMT)]Great to see them back in profet.It wasn’t easy,the airline at one time was loosing as much as UA a week and if you consider their sizes,that was a hell of a lot.Also a pilot strike and the lay off of 1000s of staff and the loss of two aircraft,couldn’t of made it easy.Anyway,good news from them considering I really thought they could be another Sabena..would of been sad to see the Shamrock and one of my favourite airlines disappear.

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-09-02 AT 06:23 PM (GMT)]Bangdag Airport is the highest in the world.I think BA fly into Karachi with an A321?The most reliable aircraft I would say is the TU-154 because of factors such as landings in places such as Siberia which are very desolate.Jet Airways,I read your piece in AW about that,it was a 767 I think?Didn’t Fairchild approach America for help with the 528? V1 on a 747 I think is between 145-148kts.

    Factors such as light,obstructions,etc can contribute to the fact that Nick12 could not see the colours,if your passing by car its quite easy to tell the aircraft(as I have found)but not the airline.

    Who is Japan’s national carrier,JAL or All Nippon?Just wondering.
    I don’t really like the new JAL colours,seem very dull and uinspirational.Seems to be the trend with Japaneese airlines.All white I suppose does save money.
