How big is the charter market to Toronto? Air Transat seems to be out again in force to Europe again this year, are there a varied amount of destinations?
By the way, a random question but do SATA still operate the A310 from Ponta Delgada to Toronto?
I was under the impression that Balkan Holidays/Hemus were now the same company?
Berlin (SFX, TXL, THF)
Milan (BGY, LIN, MPX)
Moscow (DME, SVO, VKO)
Rome (CIA, FCO)
Stockholm ( ARN, BMA)
Heathrow Terminal 5 and on a local scale Guernsey’s new terminal although i’m not holding my breath.
No they also fly from two principle hubs at Chicago Midway and Indianapolis to the east and west coasts of the U.S with the 737-800 aircraft and also small connection service by Chicago Express who they bought in 1999.
Congratulations to Armstrong. He had to fight for his victory but in the end he truly deserved it.

Yeah, I remember that the flight path after departure from Monastir was quite a sharp turn out to the right and over the salt pans where you continue over the airport and hug the coast northwards.
EAL_KING, where are you staying? Hammamet, Sousse?
Island F.M or the BBC local station, a good mix of music and local talk/news. I can’t stand Radio 1 anymore as the standards continue to slip. Okay I enjoy the music but the presenters are just incapable of playing the correct track and remembering whom they were by.

I am pretty positive that Jethro’s is wrong, probably just indicating the possible aircraft it might be.
Anyway, with the managing skills of Malcolm Naylor, the former director of Brymon, hopefully Air Southwest will be a success or at least a lot better than how British Airways had ended up down at Plymouth/Newquay. With their objective to serve the Southwest’s economy with local knowledge, costs and aircraft for example, it should be quite a good little regionally focused airline.
I could say the same for Air France as you guys say for Air India. I think the tricolour is highly reflective of the country it serves with no sort of identity crisis as seems to be quite common in Europe. If the aircraft were kept clean I think it would stand out as a very respectable livery. Considering it was first designed in 1975 (okay probably time for an update), it still remains in terms of looks, quite modern with the varying blue and red stripes and uppercase ‘AIR FRANCE’ titles.
Though everybody to his or her own taste 🙂
While I am not sure why it occurs, numerous airlines operate the same IATA codes concentrated in different regions of the world. It does not necasarily mean two airlines have merged etc.
Thanks Bhoy. Interestingly enough, it seems as if the Swiss Saab 2000 aircraft can be found still in three different liveries looking at some pictures I found. They are the old Crossair livery, the livery before they became Swiss and also the current Swiss livery. Quite a variety and still nice to see some schemes that have sadly disappeared.
Luckily I am in Jersey next weekend for another spotting trip so I will be able to get a few photos of the Zurich charter that has started with Swiss this year. Hopefully it will be a Saab 2000 not a Jumboliner, although I like the aircraft it would be good to have some variety.
Yet another Czech route to the UK. It doesn’t surprise me really, Prague is such a popular destination. Emirates is again excellent news, added advantage of connections through Dubai to the East.
