I know, I myself enjoy watching the aircraft flying over my house in the summer when they are descending or climbing out of Paris, it can get extremely busy at some periods. I used to see Concorde fly over though sadly that does not occur anymore.

Interesting picture. If you look at the caption that follows this picture on A.net, it says that the aircraft is at 200ft. It is conducting a military ship identification manoeuvre over international waters in the Mediterranean.

If you look through a period of time you will see that the Paris service has been suspended a number of times due to poor passenger loads. Now Qantas only operates to CDG around twice a week, this is not enough frequency to encourage high yield passengers when airlines such as Emirates operate daily connections to Australia. In my opinion when you see a similar service to Rome disappearing then it looks quite unlikely that a service to Paris would be kept flying either.

I wouldn’t be surprised if CDG was also discontinued.

There is a café/bar towards the far right when you enter the terminal. Opposite there is also a WHS. The Southampton terminal is quite small, arrivals and departures are located together with the small viewing gallery being located at the end of the terminal up some stairs next to the check in desks. From this point you are able to see the runway, north apron and parts of the south apron.

Oh well, Jersey Airport is not the worst airport to be stuck at although any extra time on that island can only be a downfall.

The Jersey Airport times are correct. I have just checked for you on Channel Television and they are reporting that the flight will not leave Jersey until around 2025. This is also confirmed by thisisjersey.com.
The Ceefax and Teletext times are not very reliable, best to use local sources.
