Some of you expressed interest in Rockhopper’s website, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the improvement below.
Ah right I see, maybe Scotland should have its own trans-Atlantic airline although it does seem pretty well covered for services to North America with American carriers in general.
BA’s European network from Scotland does seem substancial though, doesn’t it?
My thoughts have been with all those who have lost loved ones in 9/11 and the subsequent aftermath.
Our sadness should possibly also extend to all those involved in aviation that have lost jobs due to events surrounding 9/11.
But that is the same with any European country really. Just look at France with Air France’s main hub at CDG. Is it profitable for an airline to operate two or more miniture hubs nowadays?
It is back to BMI in December.
Found in Guinea in a rather sloppy new paint scheme.
At GCI we have had in a Transavia 737 this year on a business charter.
Continental also operate the 757 between LGW and CLE.

Excellent….

Excellent….
I doubt Stansted would be reinstated, it never really established itself as a successful route as the yields were low.
The Fokker 100s are still flying but these are due for retirement after the A319s arrive. Odette Airways or someone is taking them on I am lead to believe.
…It follows a review of security at both airports in coherence with the UK’s Department for Transport and Saudi authorities.
At least western travellers will now get a choice of whether they would like an alcoholic drink or not, which they do not receive from the competition.
It doesn’t do the 777 justice. There is something substancial missing that just ruins the 777s good looks.
It is excellent news to see a new route from Inverness; it reinforces the need for better airlinks to the remoter regions and dependencies. HIAL has been in high level talks with airlines to participate in new routes to the Highlands so this new route compliments their negotiations very nicely.
Hopefully this new route will be marketed correctly and sufficiently. The real substantial trouble with Inverness is its situation. A large catchment area though a very sparse population. The route therefore, although only with a commuter sized aircraft, will have to have a satisfactory proportion of business and tourist passengers to make any sort of success out of it.
