The actual aircraft was white all over with no markings, the only reason I knew it was Atlas Jet was by the head dresses. I’m not sure if that is the aircraft in the picture and I can’t find out because there is no information nor pictures of an all white aircraft. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
Le Cocqs will use the Islander on the route. The Trislander is Alderney based. And yes, the Trislander is a great aircraft to fly on.

I like it 🙂 Noel Hayes must be a fan of Jersey Zoo 😉
I know who my next inter island flight will be with.
Happy Birthday 😉
Those are extremely good pictures 😉 I like the LH Cityline RJ85.
The Aeroflot aircraft looks better than I expected, not an improvement in my opinion as I was always an enthusiast of their old Russian image but that is progress for you.
I have been waiting for TAP to show interest in the A330 as it seems a perfect fit for them in terms of lower density long haul flights and higher density to Europe and the domestic islands. At last they are considering the aircraft now.
Jet2 would be interesting from Bournemouth though the destinations would be fairly limited I suppose if you consider that Flybe. and Jet2 have a very similar network so how that could work would be questionable.
You have to admire Ryanair, if anybody will be around after saturation point is reached then certainly it will be them through O’Leary’s tough talk and management. You only have to look at how many small towns and cities want a piece of the action to see their astounding success. Just look at what they have bough the local economy of Cornwall as an example of the Ryanair “Magic”, so to speak.
Anyway, did anybody hear the rumours of Jet2 down at Bournemouth?
It depends I suppose, certainly an expensive flight will justify a service where there is not as higher demand as I know is the case for many services into LCY. I pressume that if the flight is for the business community then firstly they will be willing to pay that ammount to reach the city so maybe that is where the success lies. Anyway the flight seems late in the evening, possibly earlier are more fruitful?
It will occur around next year into early 2005 when the EU expands as new countries in Eastern Europe become member states. Obviously there is huge expansion potentials in this area so I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Ryanair flying to a place like Estonia or Croatia etc in the future.
Interesting, do you think the flights will last? 12 passengers doesn’t seem a lot though I suppose the high prices justify the route.
Good news for Bournemouth, Ryanair obviously teaching someone a lesson….
But the trouble would be there that KLM could never benefit as much with American as it did with Northwest in terms of envelopment. Certainly they would not be as well integrated into Amsterdam as Northwest currently are though I suppose it could be a good time for KLM to develop itself into a respective niche carrier if a relationship with American was forged.
Well they would have shot themselves in the foot if that was the case with their PR stunts but a Boeing order would highly surprise. Seems like the Iberia situation in the making…
