Russians killed Hitler after Hitler killed millions of innocent Russian civilians. Turks don’t want to try and see what Russians can do. If Russians fight, they won’t care about economy. They will roll over anyone.

Let`s get real, 4 Su-35S, 4 Su-30MKI, few Su-34 and bunch of older Syrian Mig-29 with S-400 and few other SAM`s can`t win the fight against Turkey! They can make damage to some degree, but in the long run the numbers are to low for serious resistance, specially when we consider that Russians SAM`s are stationed at one point around the airport. If they don`t have the freedom to change the position, their efficiency is rapidly shrinking.
If we are talking about open war between Russia and Turkey (which will happen sooner or latter), I wouldn`t wanna be a Turkish citizen!

Russia manufactures planes. Turkey does not. Russia can build thousands of planes in times of war. Turkey cannot build a single plane in times of war. Japan lost to the US in WW2 because its industrial capability was less than that of the US. In any case, Turkey cannot afford a war with Russia.

Su-35S is the same size class as F-22. It is much bigger than F-35. They are not the same size class.

Hmm how Tu-214R works ? is that a pure ELINT/SIGINT platform as RC-135 or did it also double as ground battlefield management like E-8 JSTARS ?

Tu-214R is SAR and EO recon, signals intelligence, communications intelligence, and can direct air strikes. It is counterpart of E-8.

If it is determined to be a bomb then since ISIS claimed responsibility then yes Russia will deploy ground forces and kill a LOT of people in Syria.
