light infantery because speed is the key to success
special forces; deploy them 50 miles from the coast and let them get to the carriers etc with inflatables by the cover of the night. (or do a distraction attack somewhere else) let them plant C-4 or semtex arrount the screw and rudder of the carrier and the rest of the main fleet
then get the hell out of there and kill the fleet (or immobilize it)
let the allies subs kill the rest
start artillery bombardments on border-bases
at the same time attack with your airfleet the main (air)bases
paradrop troops to quickly capture the airbases fly in tanks and supplies
let your ally cover your back and do support missions.
attack first ! not internationally accepted but hey, the US does that too :p
attack is the best defence so you should be prepared for an attack while you are building your forces too.
