Why not? It’s “General Discussion” last time I looked…
If you have a query about this being on here, then why are there posts about “Driving Theory”, “3-Word story” a a tiger mauling a magician?

I’m with you Kev.
It happened, was fun while it lasted in the short run and there was no particular reason to grag the subject up again.
As far as I’m concerned, those who know, fair enough. Those who don’t know, fair enough. Those who don’t give a hoot, fair enough!
Now, now… I couldn’t possibly be burdened with the responsibility of actually letting everyone know what happened… I’m afraid if you don’t know now, you never will.
you wouldn’t be attempting the same sordid spying thing as the movie would you???!!! Isn’t there laws againgst that kinda thing?!
😀

It’s nice to see proof, but are you sure she didn’t “dissapear mysteriously” in a puff of smoke, confusing certain people in the process (I’ll be careful what we say on the danger of this thread “mysteriously dissapearing”….)
After all, don’t wanna upset anyone do we…..;)
More Please!
More Please!
Perhaps there’s a way of private messaging or emailing the link to those who request to see/download it? I for one have seen the clip in question and tickled somewhat by and searched into the night trying to find it as the link had mysteriously dissapeared… Absoloutly fantastic bit of flying, so nudge, nudge, wink, wink… If anyone’s got it pass it on! 😉
Met a few famous faces but the all time best for me was Paul McCartney. I was working on a Saturday afternoon when he and Heather Mills were out shopping in my home town in my shop! Couldn’t believe it! After a couple of staff already saying that he said to other customers that he would not give autographs, I stood pondering “should I, or Shouldn’t I?” But then I thought “sod it!” I approached him and asked if I could be really cheeky… He looked at me with a polite grin and said “I won’t give autographs but I’ll shake your hand, otherwise we don’t get any shopping done.” The rest is history. Just a bit miffed I didn’t pick up a camera of the shelf, rip it out of the packaging and get a couple of snaps!

I personally, found a little treasure… It’s a Goodmans DVD3500. It comes all boxed with the player (obviously), 1 centre, 1 each of left and right, 2 surround and a sub-woofer with all the cables you need for 5.1 set-up. Got mine in Comet, about a year ago and so dunno if it’ll still be in their range but worth a try!
As for keeping it all hooked up for surround all the time, yes and no….
Yes- There is no need to disconnect any speakers from any machine whatever you are watching/listening to…
No- Only DVD software which are has a 5.1 soundtrack will enable the full benefit of the system (and it is excellent on some loud war films like Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down).
If a DVD does not have the 5.1 soundtrack it’ll only use the speaker channels it’s programmed to do so (mostly TV DVD’s which are not originally recorded in Dolby 5.1).
There are other systems like buying a full spec player and then amping it up to stereo equipment, but this in the long run can be tiresome and expensive.
Hope this helps.
