Hi Graham
That seat looks alot like this one that i have been trying to ID for a wile.
Looks like it uses the same recoil set up and lever although on this one its mounted underneath.
It also apears to have no numbers anywhere on it.
I didnt think the construction was solid enough for a fighter type but now im not so sure.
Sorry i cant be of any more help.
Hi Ewan
I thought that was your forum name but i just couldnt find it in the search!
Lack of skill here i would say.
The odd part from the shed is also making its way into my Vampire.
Let me know if you need MK 3B info as i have some here.
Glenn
The owner of the shed is a forum member and posted a thread about it a few months ago.
Just cant recall what his forum name was at the moment.
Will post again if i remember it.
camel prop?
The seller of this asured me he has checked the serial number from this prop and measured the hub and bolt pattern to confirm it.
Seamed odd to not have any manufacturer or size and pitch info like every other prop of this era ive seen (asuming its not all stamped onto the side of the hub thats covered). But what stands out to me, apart from the asking price , is that this prop apears to be the wrong rotation for a camel?

Heres the pic of my mount
I can see how a plate would clamp onto it, I hadnt even given any thought to what shape was on the bottom of the cameras.
Looking forward to the pic of it.
Another thing to keep an eye out for!
Ill have to ask a few e bayers that have listed them if they have unbolted anything from them?
Thanks guys
Thanks Bruce Mark and Bob
The reason i was thinking it was the version with the plug on the side was,
theres a Drawing in the T11 AP that shows the plug on the side but i cant recall ever seeing a pic of one fitted to a Vampire. All the pics show them with the rear plug.
I have the mount and the wiring is still there minus the plug so I would realy like to have it and the radios present eventualy.
Does anyone know what the verion with the side plug was fitted to?
Thanks again
Glenn

Hi guys
Ive heard alot of good stuff about this sim so I brought it but I have never been able to get it to run on my pc. it seams to install ok but when i try and start it I get a little disc appear and i can hear the dvd spinning and then it just all stops and nothing happens? Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling into different folders and even got another graphics card as i thought maybe that was the prob but still nothing. Any suggestions? Ide realy love to have a go at dogfighting online so im pretty frustrated with it!
Thanks for any help anyone can come up with.
I would have to say as a person who has worked on alot of different types of vehicles over the years that rags can definatly be left in engines. Ive done it.
But ive also worked in aircraft maintanance for a few years and done my share of engine changes . Stuffing a rag into an oil line is the last thing anyone would do. As soon as the rags in there it would become obviose that
whoever gets the job of reconnecting them wont see them and disaster will follow. The result is also not very likely to result in any evidence of the tampering either.
I dont think there would be many aircraft engineers who would be too comfortable stuffing rags into oil lines at any time expecialy wile under the preasure of far from ideal working conditions thay may have been under.

I could not have put it better myself.
you hit several nails right on the head.
And some 2 seaters which i think where normal T11s
She has one 2 seater flying and one single seater ground running.
And at least one of the fighters has found its way onto a pole in the middle of a carpark at a shoping center, how sad is that?
I have to agree .
The new credit card bowsers are the best thing to happen in
Australian airports for ages. One just went in at Broken hill and
theres a new one at Port Pirie (which has great service from the caretaker anyway).
Now if we can get rid of landing fees at Council owned airports ill be
even happier.
