    Hi all,
I have a ‘camera control electrical box, type 35’ in its original box. It’s in quite good condition. I also have a meteor stick top, not in the best condition. Looking to swap for Vampire T11 stick top.
    Anyone interested please PM me.

    Regards

    Richy.

    Evening all,
Anyone have any leads to Vampire T11 canopy perspex? I need both left and right and the front screen too.
    Any help would be great.

At least in Base they were dry, I still have visions of us splashing around in tanks that had inches of fuel in the bottom as we changed various bits and bobs on the line 🙂

That sounds familiar!! 🙂 wasn’t too keen on the smell inside the tanks when all the little bugs started to decay though!!!!

Hi, any ideas about the sort of price you are looking for? Would you part with the cockpit separately?

Richy -I should keep an eye on Aviation Job Search! Sounds like there are job prospects at Bruntinthorpe for you! As to why the RAFM don’t own XR808 -thats baffling!

Not a chance David, you seen how much PRC is on the inside of the tanks covering nuts, bolts and lock nuts etc? I have spent enough time in those fuel tanks to last a lifetime!!!!!

You can unbolt the wings, there’s quite a few of them mind you!!! I worked on VC-10 majors for 8 years and one airframe (i forget which one) had corrosion issues in the wingroot,BAE basically took nearly all the bolts out so the wing was ‘detached’ from the fuselage for a few weeks,so it is feasible if not very, very, very time consuming!!

    Absolutely spot on.

Even though you have pin pointed my love and affection for pig in a bun and the vital fluid of social life i.e beer! I have to agree with MarkG, athough it pains me to say it!!
By the way Mark T, I told you your efforts were worthy of such recognition, just watch yourself next year, I am on a mission for next time!!

    Hi all,

This has been said before, if you want to go then go, if not then……..It’s up to the individual.
I for one had a fantastic time, met up with good friends, made new one’s and even managed to help someone with bit’s and pieces that he needed for an ongoing project.
I, for one, can’t wait for next year! I will be there with my Canberra T.22 now that I have had a taste of the event! Just to be at an event with like-minded people, hog roast and free beer, free accommodation, what more could you possibly want??:p
