Excellent shots, Adam, all of them.
I’m liking the Qatar with the MyTravel peeking through.

    Brilliant shooting, Paul.
MAN is one of those places I really want to try at some point!

    Love that Etihad close up.

Nice shooting from what I assume was the common.

Are you – and “snogger” (?) – BRS regulars then?
I’m about 15 mins away from the airport and go fairly regularly, maybe once every fortnight. I usually go up to the other end of the runway though.

    Super collection, Paul.
The Balkan shot is my pick – tightly framed and nice and sharp.

    🙂

My current processs for creating images to post on forums is as follows.

    1. Copy all files (usually RAW) to folder on HDD.
    2. Create a “web” folder in the same folder as those from the CF card which I use to save my edits in.
    3. Open required RAW file through Adobe Camera RAW plugin.
    4. Make adjustments as/if required
    5. Open the RAW file into Photoshop
    6. Noise reduction
    7. Canvas rotate if needed
    8. Levels adjustment
    9. Crop/resize down to 800×533 pixels at 72 dpi
    10. Apply USM – e.g. 70%, 0.5 pixels, 0 threshold.
    11. Add my name in a text layer
    12. Save file as a jpeg in the web folder.

    Fin. 😎

    Nice shooting, Si, as always.
Quite fond of that FCA 757 – nice motion blur.

Brilliant shooting, Si. Not been for a BRS run for a week or two now and I really want to get back up there.

I really like that last XL closeup. Lovely reflection on the top of the wing.

Great shooting Si and thanks for your comment in my thread.
I think we were there on different days tho – unless you were there Friday also.

Your Airbus closeups are superb – great sharpness and colours.

    Thanks guys.

The shots were taken on 27L departures near the new/old garage – the one that was shut and has re-opened recently.

We also did 27R and 27L arrivals at the industrial area and Myrtle Ave.

    Fantastically sharp and bright colours.
I really like the Helvetic Fokker.

Those are some really nice shots considering the available light.
They look really sharp at 1024 wide too.

    Superb shots, Si.
I really like the angle you got on the second Astraeus pic. Must have been a late rotation!

Must try to get up for the FCA76 soon. Nice closeup with the ship in the channel there.

I’d try going for a higher ISO, Si.
Your EXIF says ISO200 – and you were still getting quite a slow shutter speed – e.g. the second XL.com shot was 1/320s at f/5.0.

It was pretty dull on Fri, and ISO400 might have been called for. Not sure what the noise levels would have been like from the 400D though.
