Russia is not near to being the the second most dangerous place to fly in the world, the Russian aviation authorities have certainly improved their act in the last few years. I would fly in Russia, and have done so in the past.

Indonesia’s reputation for air safety is really going down the pan. I remember a big fuss being kicked up when the Adam Air 737 went down a few years ago.

Yeh, There’s a new air crash investigation on nat geo, on this crash. Was 7 months until they recovered the boxes as adam air wouldn’t fund the money to send submarines for the boxes. :confused:
