Tell yer dad he’s a good guy, I’ve been visiting that site for ages. Unfortunately my birthday number one was Dave Edmunds, but **** happens.

Too many people missing out on a visit to the best airport in the UK. Oh dear..:D
Cheers Neil,

Do people not realise just how serious their “jokes” are these days? Those responsible should be locked up for life.
I’ve had a shirt for years that says “Bomb Squad” on it along side a graphic of what you might describe as an “acme bomb”. Now, in my mind it’s just a novelty logo on a cheap shirt that I happen to like wearing. In airport security at GLA and elsewhere, it’s surprising how many people actually ask me for real if I work for the bomb squad!
You might find this a little trivial, but I think part of the problem with these so called “I have a bomb” announcements at airports is a failure to interpret indirect humour against genuine malice.
Needless to say, post 9/11 airport security has made me think twice about wearing my favourite shirt.
Trident Man,
What’s the state of play regarding the pledges and when you want the cash ? I’d still like to come down and shoot some video of the removal from Heathrow and perhaps the arrival at MAN.
I’ll probably have to overnight as all the day return flights I can find are arriving and leaving again with a one hour turnaround time.
Yippee !:D

Allen just noticed your AF Conc has a different reg on it compared to mine.Mine is F-BTSD.
Did your’s come in regular Gemini packaging? Mine came in an Air France box like it was an onboard sale model.
It reminds me of the old days of United a little bitty bit.

Very nice indeed, it beats my 1/500th version hands down.
I also got a new model today, here it is… 1/400th Gemini Jets.
The real version of F-BVFB is now on display at The Sinsheim Museum in Germany.
