Yes, apparently BAA and BA have stopped access to the Trident for members of the Trident Preservation Society who played a huge part in the Heathrow preservation. Sounds like BA want it scrapped and BAA want the space it occupies.

Me…
I hate everyone…
Can’t be fairer then that!!!;)
Me too ! 😎 That way knowone feels left out or overlooked. 😀
Do they keep the sims of redundant airliners on the go Wys ?
Isn’t there a great international perception (misconception ?) that Americans and Canadians don’t have much time for each other. Just like most people think the Scots hate the English and vice versa ? 😀
P.S. Before I start an international incident, please respond to this post with humourous intent. 😀

The local radio stations are running out of the transmitter tower buildings. It sounds like a man and a CD player and that’s it. They put in a CD, play it start to finish and load in another one. So far I’ve heard almost the entire Led Zepplin catalog and a good portion of the Pink Floyd stuff from about the mid 70’s and later. Hey, no commericals!!
We could do with some of those power cuts here if that’s what happens. 😀
Good points and what anyone with an ounce of sense would be thinking. Just one thing though regarding point 5. You say the media has mixed things together… This should be the media/journalists or indeed media/news editors.
We’re not all guilty of making up or enhancing events to make them more “meedja sexy” 😀
Here’s a good one… Michael O’ Leary wants to rename GLA as “Glasgow Domestic” and call Prestwick “Glasgow International ” as he reckons he offers more international flights from there than are available from GLA.
Someone should remind him that regular US, Canada and European flights do not make an airport domestic. He’s off to the OFT about this apparently .
If he’s into renaming airports then I’d suggest “Glasgow- Doon the Watter” for Prestwick or “Glasgow-Only Ten Mins to the City Centre” for GLA.
What a feckin eejit ! 😀
A Virgin A340 turned back to London nearly 3 hours into the flight to JFK. Air Canada YYZ-GLA cancelled. Other delays and cancellations affecting incoming/outbound UK/North America flights.

When they saw my camera as it was in my handluggage (well it would have to be if i wanted cabin pics) they assumed it as a “security risk” , our lady at immigration was a tough cookie and debated/told us off for the usual (your here too much, you need a visa etc etc). I will try to gather some more on my way home if they don’t Hang me for trying first!!
You don’t need a visa to take photographs. You would only need one if you were a working photographer. I’d be writing a letter if I were you. Post 9/11 tensions are one thing but wilful destruction of one’s private property is another. A camera storage card is not a threat to security in anyone’s book unless you file down the edges and use it as a makeshift weapon !
Have you ever tried getting to Barcelona from Girona ? A cab to the station (20 mins), a train to Barcelona (90mins). It’s a bit like calling Dundee Airport, Glasgow-Dundee.

Well if their getting B777’s then the saying would go:
2 engines 2 get there!
Or …” Here’s two in the air from Virgin”
I’d like to know more about this as well. Are memory cards considered to be dangerous now ?
I’d take the 700 myself, if I knew how… 😀
You could try asking on here. http://www.hs121.org.uk

Did you per chance catch the aircraft that Kanaus Fc flew into Gla on last week?
I’m afraid not, I was at the game filming. You might find Fred Seggie has some pics on his site at http://www.saap.co.uk
