Sorry thought I had added all the pic’s but didn’t.
As Promised ageorge! here are a few pics of the stored ex Polar 747 at Prestwick. I’m not sure what the reg was but will try to find out.
I also went to get some more shots of the Belfast but it is not there? My guess is that it is in the Polar hanger for some maintenance. Rest assured I will keep you posted as soon as I no more. So here are the pics so enjoy.

I have been to Florida three time over the past six years and can’t wait to go back. You just can’t get a better holiday!
During my visits I have seen the space shuttle lift off, taken an aerobatic ride in a T5 texan with warbird adventures which was fantastic. Lovely sunshine, great people who make you feel so welcome and I agree that a villa is the way to go!
No wonder the Americans are so proud of there country.
Best regards,
Jimbo

Hi ageorge,
I don’t have any but will over the next couple of days for you.
There is the old Polar 747 ex flying tigers I believe which was recently purchased by Prestwick who are advertising it’s use for film work.
Apart from that and the Belfast there are no more stored airframes at P’wk.
Check for posting on Wed evening,

Jimbo
Shorts Belfast at Prestwick
Yes the Belfast is still at Prestwick. She remains in Heavylift colours and has frequent engine runs. I have heard from a good source that a family member of the “Polar Air Cargo” owners has bought her for work around the Pacific area. I apologise for the poor pic, this was taken last week around the 12/6 and the construction work for the new Ryan air hanger had not long started.
