..go to the live news broadcast…
..again according to France-Info (‘state’ radio) AF have said an emergency transmission was received from the aircraft – reporting a “panne de circuit” which I would translate as “electrical systems failure” for want of better phrase.
A posting on an enthusiasts’ website elsewhere does not constitute a statement by the authorities.
Thanks

French transport minister on his way to CDG, Air France news conference around 14h00 CET
Thanks ..what search words? I mean there’s loads of stuff on there for Headcorn or BBD…but todays flypast?
…I was at the fence sans camera….put a parting in what little hair I’ve got left..
Vol III of a French language multi-volume series on the type has just been published by DTU.
I ended up with over 100 unmade kits in the loft and tried to start up again a few years ago, finishing off a partly-made 1:48 Jaguar, plus a handful from the loft for the amusement of my son. Sadly he didn’t take the bait. He did once buy an Airfix Chinook from Hendon but it turned out he expected me to put it together for him. He’s far more interested in the internet and his Playstation.
similar story here..I still buy kits, but very rarely get around to building them…have finished a few this year though.
None of my sons have ever built a kit – but Son no. 3 will sit and paint Warhammer figures, so I guess that’s something…
Entitled, Junkers Ju-87 Stukageschwader of the Russian Front, it gave a very good account of the war that the Stuka fought against the Soviets. If you have any interest in the Eastern Front or the Stuka itself I highly recommend it.
…thanks a lot. While usually well written I find John Weal’s Osprey books a little light weight. I assume you don’t have Holger Nauroth’s Stukageschwader 2 Immelmann book – that’s a 300 page A-4 hardback…have you looked at the two volumes recently published by Classic/Ian Allan or the three volumes from Kagero devoted to the Stuka..?
..would be nice if we could limit this thread to aviation-related books…especially as this forum doesn’t have a books/media sub section..

I am no pinko, I’d like to see the scum and toerags offed at once, I don’t believe in long jail terms for mass murderers and child killers/molesters
The above makes me sound right wing nazi Daily Mail. I hold no political direction at all.
..now you’re making some of our friends on this thread sound like sensible human beings…

Democrats and liberals just tend to put less money into it because they want to prop up the lower classes with social programs in order to create a renewable voting base.
..ha ha that’s really funny…..
the notion of a ‘greater good’ obviously doesn’t inspire you then….
