It’s really unfortunate and sad that a weak nation as Georgia is being used a scapegoat here. This is the result of many actions the US and NATO took in the past decade or so despite Russia’s strong objections which were totally ignored.
Why does NATO want to expand deep into Russia’s neigborhood?
Why does Georgia has to pay the heavy price for NATO’s actions, like in Yugoslavia and Iraq?
The CNN reporter is now asking Russia’s Embassador why are they bombing targets in Georgia and Tibilisi far from the war zone in Ossetia and they never asked why NATO bombed Belgrade which was also quite far from the fronts?
There are good Armenia machines on Airliners and on MyAviation.
I really doubt the reports of downing Russian aircraft. I have lived through few Arab-Israeli wars and remember how the Arabs claimed many kills that never existed.
If the Georgian reports are true, there must be crash sites, wrecks, ejected pilots. None seems to exist so far.
Have they found some qualified pilots?
Yes, there are still at least 5 or 6 Hunter pilots (some say 10) serving with the air force.
Lebanon is still hopeful of making a few of the Hunters airworthy this year.
Does the Hawk 200 have an internal built in cannon?
Is that F-16 carrying AMRAAMs? If so, does Jordan have have the missile in it’s inventory?
Here’s the full page of those Skyhawk drawings:

THe raids seem to have been useless.Did the SLAF chase the aircrafts?
Even though the latest Tamil air raids are reported to be useless but they are still some sort of morale boost for the rebels which means it’s a lot better for the govt. forces if they can handle ithese attacks even though it’s not too easy.
Hi Vatche,
I don’t know these pictures are yours,i took these from the website which is mentioned on the snaps.
No worries. I realized it after I checked the website. The owner has taken most of the photos from my posts on another forum.
Best regards.
Vatche
Those Lebanese Huey photos are mine and I don’t know why they show some other “xairforces” name or have my name ripped off. The first I have posted here and the other 3 are from Airliners.net

It would have been nice if you have left my name as it appears at the bottom of the photos.

That is an excellent photo with Mount Ararat in the background!
Two Lebanese Air Force Hueys.

I think the best choice would be refurbished F-16A/B but the restricitons by the US towards some nations in need is indeed a problem.
I don’t know why the Chinese could not improve the 2000 kg weapons payload of the F-7 after so many upgrades. With a little bit more load, it could have been more attractive to some potential buyers.
Is the Hawk 200 still offered? I remember that they had this big marketing campaign similar to that of the F-20 but it didn’t sell too well. And on the subject of the Hawk 200, does it have a built in cannon or does it carry the pod like the trainer versions?
