You are right. Its about the planes, the people who put up the money to fly these machines, the veterans and the venue, but i would hardly say he is putting me off attending purely because i don’t like his commentary. That’s like saying i’m not gonna watch the world cup final because i don’t like Andy Townsends commentary!!!

The fighter collection certainly don’t feel the same way as he is there year after year to commentate.

I beleive the idea of toning down areas of the flightline tannoy system was put to the organisers but i don’t know what the outcome was.

Unfortunately as much as they would like to, the organisers can’t please everyone.

i for one will be there whether he commentates or not.

i love Mr Chabberts ramblings. I know at times he does come up with some complete nonsense (Ie the French won the battle of Britain) but he does add a comical touch.

i see Peter Vachers Hurri is now down to attend this year.
