The TFC guys are better placed than me to say, but all 3 furies will be flyers!!

i beleive they are clearing the area around there seafury to continue the restoration. Is alot of the work done on the airframe already?

i take it PP972 is the wizzard investments example that was originally restored but found to have issues with it? Has anybody got any recent pics of it because i’m sure this example had engine runs when it was originally restored?

hmmmmmmmmmmm i wonder have much truth there may be in this? i would imagine just jane would need a massive overhaul at coventry like the bbmf lanc for starters.

However, with the dambusters due to be filmed in 2010 who knows? coincidence perhaps?……..

i would very much doubt it but who knows. never say never.

At the moment it looks something like:
    BBMF SPIT, HURRI, DAKOTA
B17S SALLY B, PINK LADY AND LIBERTY BELLE
    13 SPITS
    2 P40S
    6 MUSTANGS
    5 TEAM GUINOT
    YAK 3 ‘WHITE 100’
    2 GLADIATORS
    2 HURRICANES

Then add the TFC, HAC And other duxford based residents and that takes it into the 40’s in terms of numbers. There is due to be 65 or more historic aircraft there.

Check out http://friends-of-tfc.blogspot.com/ for regular updates

its certainly looking very good indeed.
