    lancaster, spitfire and hurricane just flew over in clear blue skies in rainham essex!!!! what a sight!!!! beautiful.

    just seen the plane sailing catalina fly over rainham essex. hopefully a few more dx birds should use the same route!!!

    from what i gather, the zero will not attend due to insurance problems. Mind you it may not have been planned to have been coming anyway!!

    what is happening with the 2 swordfish? i know the one which is expected to fly this year has had all of it wings replaced, but the what is happening with the other airframe which was displayed at the london airshow in earls court?

    Do i remember rightly i massive formation of c-130’s at one mildenhall in the early nineties? what a fantastic airshow, such a shame it is unlikely ever to happen again. and i echo the sentiment about those burgers…. amazing!! i was lucky enough to visit the mess hall at raf bentwaters when i was about ten, as my dad worked for shell, and i could eat them one after the other!!!
    wet most defintately!!! 😀

    its a funny one ‘grumpy’ as there was rumour that it may stay in the uk, but it has attended any airshows since 2004 i think (i’m sure it attended ‘legends and biggin hill that year). if u look on the fhc website it says that they are restoring a b25j, while from my recollection ‘grumpy’ is a b25d?

    surely he doesn’t need 2?

    Us europeans have never had it so good!! its great that she is finally where she belongs, gracing the skies above Yorkshire.

    Must say though, alot of credit has to go to DAVSKI for being patient and always keeping us forum folk updated!! cheers mate. 😀

    i understand christophe jacquard has bought one from flugwerk (the french guy who owns the contra prop spit xix and corsair) and has existing parts from an original dora. i wonder how he is gonna incorparate them?
