So you choose First Choice because they are convenient, and not because of their outstanding service. BA don’t just get you to London though. They can get you to hundreds of destinations worldwide from there.

Considering I don’t live in London it doesn’t really matter to me how many destinations British Airways fly to from London, the only one of any use to me is London to Glasgow, and even then I prefer to use Air Berlin and Easyjet.

For me, part of the service is a direct flight from my local airport, plus comparing my British Airways flights and First Choice Airways flights, First Choice are far superior.

What has been your experience with British Airways losing your bags?

A few years back I flew from Lagos to Glasgow via Heathrow, my bags went missing and didn’t show-up for three weeks, after this all my trips to Nigeria were made by KLM.

(Think we are getting off-topic from ThomsonFly):)

Based on that, how somebody can say that British Airways isn’t as good as First Choice, I’ll never know. Each to their own I guess.

Simple…because First Choice can fly me direct to the Caribbean and Mexico from my local airport.

The best BA can do is get me to London, and probably lose my bags.

Dont give all charter airlines poor reputations just because Thomson are cr@p. First Choice Airways are in a league of there own, IMO far better than British Airways!!

Anybody ever flown on a TOM 767-200? Or does anybody simply know the configuration/comfort/entertainment. Thanks again! 🙂

When they where known as Britannia I flew on one of there 762’s GLA-SDQ-GLA. I think ThomsonFly’s 767s have been refitted with Seat back entertainment etc.

I was on a ThomsonFly 757 the other week, seats are dark blue leather/plastic with next to no legroom.

Nice shots Rab like the Fokker 100 does that always do GLA-STN? Shame about the jeep that Britishjet would be one great shot.

    James

Air Berlin seem to use all there aircraft on GLA flights, 737s and Fokkers are most frequent with the odd airbus now and then.

How many onward connections from LBA to EWR?
    LBA – Amsterdam
    LBA – Heathrow
    LBA – Dublin
    LBA – Brussels
    LBA – Paris
    LBA – Bristol
    LBA – Edinburgh
    LBA – Glasgow
    LBA – Shannon (next)
Some jouneys by bus to selected UK airport.
    And plus Manchester direct.
Not everyone is looking at air-miles loyalty cards etc.
I personally always went through Amsterdam. Better than London but I lived close to LBA. No chance to set off to Manchester early morning.
What to do with the car when her in doors needed it.

We’re not talking connections on getting to EWR, we’re talking connections at EWR that Continental offer, such as LBA-EWR-LAX, LBA-EWR-MCO, LBA-EWR-ORD etc.

FlyGlobespan are doing transatlantic flights without any partners in the US, so no onward connections on offer.

FlyGlobespan fly daily to Boston, New York JFK and Orlando so why cant Jet2?

    3 Glasgow 632,000

If you go with the Scottish Executives constant tinkering with the Glasgow boundery then its 632,000, but lets face it, thats prety much the city centre + a tiny bit of suburbia.

The real population of Glasgow is 1,577,869 with 2.5m in Greater Glasgow.
