    >PLEASE no Breitling fighters, I’ve seen enough loops to last
    >me a lifetime and I’m not the only one who feels this way,
    >these planes are not made to loop, they are made to go fast
    >in a straight line and downhill, I’d much prefer to see them
    >doing run ins from the sides. The BBMF have got lots of
    >experience on the display circuit and you don’t see them
    >doing damned loops all over the shop. >

I have to disagree with this part of your statement, the Breitling Fighters are the most exciting display item to come onto the circuit for as long as i can remember.
Fighters are made to do whatever manouver is needed to get out of nasty situations, whether downhill or looping.
BBMF as far as i’m concerned are boring, i go to airshows to see thrilling aerobatic displays, BBMF should just be kept on the ground.
Spitfires along with all other british WWII aeroplanes are the most boring drab things to look at, we need more P-51’s for the colour variety, it does not matter what mark to me, our skies are too often crap for the drab british hulks. One Spitfire is all that’s needed for an airshow and that is MH434.

I’ve been saying for years about facing aircraft away from the crowd and the only answer i’ve had is shrugged shoulders. TURN THE DAMN THINGS AROUND.
I would also like to see Sally B put out on the flightline and not in the area on the crowdline where they keep sticking her.

My money is on the Rata or Chaika (Not sure on the spelling) from New Zealand.
Also OFMC’s Lavochkin 9 should back here by then. Fingers crossed.
I’d also like to see the idea of a classic jet hour before the main show each day. A Hunter, Gnat, Sea Vixen and the F-86 would be great for starters.
I’d also like to see John Bradshaws Sea Fury (If he still owns it as it was up for sale but i have not heard of it being sold).
I’m just hoping for fewer Spitfires and more P-51’s and the Breitling Fighters.

Great photo’s of the late great OHB.
What i have been after is a good close up of the knights helmet on the nose and the coat of arms on the tail.
Do you have any Yak 11 Fan?
    Or anyone else ?

Forgot to add, Janie looks great apart from that old broomstick in place of the aerial.

Is that the old Ormond Haydon-Baillie Sea Fury?
    Have you anymore shots?
I see in Hanger 5 they are working on OHB’s old C-100, hard to believe it was airworthy when he had it.

    Hi,
I’d just like to say thanks to all who turned up and to Ashley and Tony for arranging it.
Great to put names to faces and that’s the 2nd time i’ve seen Roberts talk and it’s still great to see all that footage. I would like to see all 50 hours of it though, maybe Robert can sort it out for next time.
Thanks again for a great day,
    Alexis

By not yet to the latter, does that mean they intend on letting people in?
I tried a couple of years ago to go to Cranfield but was told there is no way i can go in and see them.

All Duxford shows and then Kemble for the Classic Jets show and later on in the year for the Delta Jets Fly-in. Air Atlantique’s show at Coventry will be a must as the last one was fantastic.
Just hope a few more P-51’s and a lot less Spitfires will turn out at legends.
