Wet-leasing due to shortage of crews apparently.
Now there’s something you won’t see very often! Nice catch mate… well done!
Very nice mate! How lucky are you! 🙂
Glad you took advantage of the situation – you came away with some excellent snaps! Looking forward to seeing some more!
Nice catch Keith.
This is something I hope to be looking at doing towards the summer time. 😀
Never saw that coming! How random.
Just had a quick look at flights etc on the site – they are quite pricey too!
Got yourself some lovely shots there mate – shot number 3 of the Puma’s together is superb. The colour of the sky is really nice.
Good job the night shots too – again with a lovely colour sky! 🙂
Good catches Andy! Nice backdrop on the Cargolux.
Did you go back for the Emirates today?
Some great shots Rob – looks like you had the perfect condition to be shooting in too! 🙂
Really liking the angled shots – something a bit different! 🙂
I heard that this was a flight coming into LHR – AA78 from Dallas – A woman tried to gain access to the flightdeck, but its not being treated as a terrorist threat/incident. (This was heard on the Radio – Capital FM at 1pm)
As far as I know Saha Air in Iran still operate the 707?
Very hard to pick 3 – seeing as LHR is my local and its always BA :p – However, none of these were taken at LHR… I’ve tried to go for interesting aircraft/locations etc – so we have 2 concorde’s and 1 Saab.
Firstly is G-BOAD in Brooklyn,

G-BOAA on its voyage to Scotland,

And finally G-LGNF in Dublin in 2004.

Leaving the fleet on 20-3-2010 (TBC) to be returned to the lessor – unsure where it will go from there – possible onward to FedEx for frieghter conversion?
A couple of different ones from me – a few older pics of types that have not yet been covered as opposed to the LHR(ish) type ones 🙂
I apologise for the quality on the first 2… the sun was being a bu*ger on the day I was in Paris and it was not ideal for shooting.
The other is in Zurich.

Two from me, and as predicted, both from LHR 😉 – however, at least one is in the older livery (taken awhile ago before I had a DSLR).
