Those banking shots are superb Matt! Shame the weather didn’t play ball though – ruined this weekend for lots of people for so many various shows! 🙁

Apparently it crashed into a field and then into a house, killing both those in the house (15 and 52 years of age)

All 8 crew members are reported to have gotten out alive and are receiving medical treatment.

From the pictures i’ve seen it looks a bit of a mess – split and upside down. 🙁

There was a CAP232 at the show (F-GKMZ) Flown by Richard Pickin.

The Twister as far as i know is a british build. 🙂

James – the DC-6 actually only used around half of the runway to get up! Very quick a early take off. Landin it only used about the same too – it was put straight into reverse thrust as soon as it hit the deck.

The aircraft in the last picture is a Wells Silence Twister – built in 2005.

Great catches on all of these Tony! Apart for the Virgin, i’ve never seen any of these are LGW myself, in all the times ive visited.

Nice catch on the 747 especially! 🙂

Great shooting Lance, Nice to see the AF318. Don’t get them down here at LHR anymore… all AF flights seem to be A321s now.

I was there – but the photos were crap that i got as his entire fleet used the 27L for landing as opposed to 27R like the other aircraft – so I was sadly in the wrong place at the right time! 🙁 lol

I hoping to get back up there tomorrow to see it go – just hope they dont mess around with runways again!
