Does anyone remember this happening just after the Falklands thing? As I remember there was a Pizza place near Brize that delivered and they didn’t specify a distance so a couple of regulars, who were normally stationed at Brize, called and ordered and then said they were in Port Stanley. The pizza place owner then contacted the CO at Brize and as a publicity thing they put the pizza on a Herc and flew it out!
