Croatia is to buy 15 used F-16’s by 2010, for a price of $70 million USD. The planes will come from US stocks based on Europe, and they were built in 1995. They will completely replace the Mig-21’s.

Hi Ja, I think you’re talking about General William Westmoreland, he died yesterday at the age of 91. He led US forces during the early phases of the American/Vietnam War.

I think you should add the G-4 Super Galeb to that list, because this aircraft comes pretty cheap and can cause damage to enemies in support of ground troops. And I think apart from the L-39, third world nations can make the G-4 really useful.

I remember the RAF lost one Harrier after been hit by shoulder-launched SAM, could some update me on this?

The LCA is my favourite aircraft and to know its “not going anywhere” is quite devastating.
