Hello everybody, I’m resurrecting this thread to say that the photo seems to have been in most of the papers in East Anglia as far as I can tell! It’s in the current issue of the Bury Free Press. They contacted me to say that a Mrs Boyton though she recognised someone in it, although she doesn’t claim to own the picture. I spoke to her and she thinks the tall guy on the right is her uncle, Neville Elford.

Does a name help in tracking things down? If nobody else comes forward, Mrs Boyton is happy for me to take it up to the Rougham Tower Association for the museum there.

Well, the East Anglian Daily Times have printed it on page 12 of today’s edition. Thanks again for your help in fleshing out some information on the photo. Let’s see if anything comes of it!
