Well, it was fun to meet with you all yesterday. I’m sorry that I could not stay for the whole day and that I did not get the chance to speak with everyone there. However I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of the Breitling Fighters and Lee Proudfoot’s talk. Thanks Ashley!

A swift bounce to the top of the stack, just to let you know I’ve added some more pictures to the WAP site. Mostly military jets, including a couple of historic ones. There’s also a small addition to the prop-driven posse 😉
It’s also been rearranged so you will need to choose ‘next’ on the phone menu to reach pages 2 and 3, where the images are.
Enjoy!

Aye, that’s the one! Very silly but very good!
I wouldn’t give up on it coming out on region 2 DVD. There’s a series called ‘The High Life’ that was shown ages ago that we’ve been waiting years for on either video or DVD, and it’s finally been released on both! (Anyone ever see that one? Very funny series) So PoC may yet get it’s chance.

You can also autoforward your emails from your regular email account to your O2 account, so that when you are away from your PC you know when someone has sent you an email.
The only thing I’d add here is that if you forward your mail in this way, for heavens’ sake put some filters on it to only forward from specific people that you know you want to hear from. I get something like 200 junk mails a day – the last thing I’d want to be doing is wading through that lot on a phone! I’m sure you don’t have as bad a problem but you get my drift…
Glad you’re all enjoying the pictures 🙂
Moggy, give me a day or two – visitors just arrived – I think I can dredge up a pic of your Colt… 😉

ooh, I’ve not seen this post before and it’s something that *really* gets on my nerves, the use of text-style spelling. Some of my friends constantly email in text style and their messages verge on the unreadable!
I can understand and sympathise if someone is dyslexic but there’s no excuse for sloppiness or laziness.
And anyway, these days most phones have predictive text on which negates the need for text style writing, so as soon as the ‘yoof’ move on from the text fad I’ll be happy….

Nice one, looks like a great fly-in. Some really good aircraft there; thanks for sharing!
When we flew to the US back in April this year, I was lucky enough to see a pair of B-2 Spirit bombers fly underneath our 777 at about 60 degrees of angle to our direction of travel. They were moving pretty fast but I spent about the next half an hour watching them – you could see the dots for a good while and the contrails (black and sooty ones) for ages.
I can imagine how other things might appear across long expanses of sky after seeing those.
