    I think you may be refering to the VE day flypast. This is on Sunday 10th June. Does anyone know if participants from Legends will be taking part (and also if the flpast may come over Duxford as its the same day!). 🙂

    I believe the participants are departing Duxford for the flypast which takes place along the Mall at about 5 pm.

    I think it is concluding with the BBMF Lancaster dropping poppies.

    If you check the story now it has been downgraded to a brake seizure. No gear collapse. No crash. No story, one might suggest!! :rolleyes:

    Helium is extensively used for filling balloons as it is a much safer gas than hydrogen. One of the recent largest uses for helium has been for pressuring liquid fuel rockets. A Saturn booster, like the type used on the Apollo lunar missions, required about 13 million ft3 of helium for a firing, plus more for checkouts.
