7 new SSN/SSBN within 5 years plus 16 SSK looks very high estimate.

I dont think even soviet union at its height built at such a rate.

Well pictures of 6-8 newly built or building SSKs are taken in the past year, plus the 8 Kilos, that is already a lot of SSks purchased in the past few years. (8-10 Song/Song A/Song G, 1 Yuan and 8 Kilos)

That is probably the F-7M. At least it is definitely not another J-8/J-8II in that pic.

    Jons:
That is why 168 is stealthy, not stealth. It has many RCS reduction features, and from the size of the funnels, IR reduction as well.

Not to mention that the 052Bs were a rush job after the HHQ-9 system was delayed, and they were forced to re-design. If you look at the 052C, it is a lot more stealthy.
Also note the 054 which is designed a little later, and has the best stealth features.

Not to mention the farce with the China-only components by Boeing for Chinese orders (who knows what difference they may have?) and the bugging of “PLAAF-1”, then relationships with Boeing went downhill real fast after that.
Also the so called joint venture by Shanghai Aviation with MD building the crappy MD-95 ( and only building sections) is what turned Shanghai Aviation into the current semi-bankrupt state and also killed off the Y-10 program by Shanghai.

Arthur is right. The letter is not T or J, bu the Chinese letter”丁”, which comes in the sequence of “甲,乙,丙,丁…”, and here means fourth. So the is H-6D, the version with the chin radar and carries missles.

Can Someone tell me what Ejection seat is to be fitted in this aircraft?
Is it the Martin Baker ejection seat:

Or is it some cheap Chinese imitation?

Who told you Chinese seats are imitations, and who told you that they are crap? Or did you eject out of one yourself and ***** (deleted by google)

Well you could almost say that dragon had been the totem of the Han since pre-hostoric times, and in a sense, still is. After all, we still call ourselves sons (and daughters) of the dragon…

you monkeys are funny, first we have some one trying to claim superior build quality based on a grainy and pixelated picture of a F-7 variant, and now we got people bringing in nuclear reactors, 4x4s, and tanks.. bravo.. what a discussion 😀 may we discuss the quality of Russian food versus “western” food?

Just who the hell are you calling a monkey you hairy bigoted obese oaf? If you don;t know anything STFU and get off the thread and eat your burgers.

No wonder then, this pic always bugs me as if I have seen it before, looks a lot like the F-18 without the nose pic. Since it is PSed, then it makes sense.

Still it raises questions when you get an article from PLA daily about a certain new fighter from a certain country suffering a mid-air engine failure and fire due to imperfect manufacturing of engine baldes, which cracked when the engine only had 40 hours on its clock…

    PLAAF: 1950, Russian supplied Mig-9
    http://www.afwing.com/images/mig9/mig9-1.jpg
These fighters were from Russian division stationed in China in air defense roles against marauding ROCAF and USAF B-17s, B-24s, B-29s, P-47s and P-51s . Piloted by PLAAF from 1950, but after arms deals with Stalin, 372 extra MiG-15s were provided to PLAAF free of charge to replace these Mig-9s in service in 6 divisions. They were used in training only after in these units received Mig-15s in 1952.
