The RAF survey seems to differ from the opinion of the team who surveyed it in the past couple of years:

Or perhaps the RAF survey was purely to ascertain whether the airframe could be moved safely only?

Well, G-NFLC anyway.
Cranfield now have G-NFLA, a later model Jetstream. “NFL” could be read as signifying “National Flying Laboratory” apparently.
