Yes, no nation would be stupid enough to attack USA, and America will only attack a country they easily can defeat.
Garbage.
Yes, in a logical future environment, the F-35 is relatively useless. There is a current USAF search for a COIN-type aircraft, like an armed Pilatus turboprop two-seater, which is a far more sensible aircraft given the conflicts the US is involved in and is likely to be involved in in the future.
The whole idea of a prop plane is utter garbage to be polite about it. Ask yourself this, would you want to be a guy on the ground having to wait 45 minutes for a prop aircraft to arrive on station only for it to be forced down by trashfire because it has to fly fairly low or would you rather a F-35 with 8 SDB arrive within 10 mins and stay high enough to avoid trash fire therefore preventing your mission from turning into a rescue operation. It really is nonsense all this ‘bring back the props’ buisness.
Not such “Evidence” as you mean it, only a Dassault flight-test pilot comments…
Oh well, much like Jon Beesleys comments on the F-35 we can take that with a massive pinch of salt, afterall he has to say it otherwise he will get the sack. :diablo:
My apologies – quite right, I definitely had that one backward. Pulse Doppler it is. Nevertheless it would be a strong contender for the title of most advanced non-AESA in anyone’s books I would have thought.
Which would be…?
Red Flag, Red Flag Alaska, Northern Edge etc etc, the list is pretty large and the F-22 seems like a fantasticly stealthy bit of kit. Other nations pilots seem to think so too but i’m sure its not worth me putting up the comments as they have been posted up on this board a thousand times before only to be dismissed by those who do not want to listen to the professionals, after all these civilian forum posters writing from the comfort of thier arm chairs cleary know a damn site more then those who operate and fight against such aircraft as the 22… The Beesley comments recently that were flagged down by those same people in thier arm chairs being a prime example. Funny stuff really.
It’s the third time: I’m not from US! So cut the bull**** with Captain America and try to be polite. Barry is right, you don’t act like a 51 years old man.
Notice the fact he posts all through the daytime during weekdays too, he does not work for the French aviation industry as he claims to but is obviously unemployed. A professional ‘Walt’ if ever there was one.
I’m not even going to repeat my claims, and I’ve posted them over and over, with links.
Yes you have made many posts full of baseless propaganda and mindless cheering for RuAF and the PAK-FA even whilst all recent sources would indicate it is not what you think it is and the project is certainly not going to plan. The way its going you are going to be left extremely red faced, much like the RuAF will be.
It would appear from this statement that you don’t know what you are talking about.
I doubt anyone who reads this forum will be suprised or shocked in any way by that, he talks alot of nonsense and is well known for it.
That’s what you’d like them to be. There is no shortage of funding or personnel at Sukhoi for this project.
With computing tech today, and Pogosyan’s statement about how they have been doing extremely heavy research in stealth, there’s nothing that will stop Sukhoi from making a first rate airframe.
In all politness i must ask how the hell do you know that? You have absolutly no better picture of the program then the next person believe it or not and all recent reports would suggest it is infact you who is misguided and over-awed by this project and not the western commentators who are wrong. Suck it up and live with it instead of making a fool out of yourself.
Why do you presist on posting those “i wish” post?
It has nothing to do with the current reality now does it.I’m getting tired of those ” Russian lack of funding and little experience” claims of L-M fanboys..
And again not i singel shred of evidence of the current funding and experience the Sukhoi and OJSC PAK-FA program are procured from you.
That the JSC wont reveal any real info, does not have anything with problems and setbacks of the PAK-FA project.
Stop thrashing this tread, and start backing up your claims with relieble sources and facts, if you cant find any.. don’t bother posting your claims..
Its not just ‘fan boys’ caliming it though is it in case you hadn’t noticed, go back one page in this thread for proof of that, unless of course Russian Defense Ministry staff are also LM fan boys that is.
Since CAPTOR is arguably the best PESA ever developed, you apparently consider anything that isn’t an APG-77/81 useless, right? Interesting idea, not entirely sure how it fits into reality.
And I suppose the F-22’s and F-35’s stealth has been greatly proven?
The 22s stealth has certainly been proven in an enviroment as close to real war as you’re going to get.

Indeed this is the second time Rafales deploy to Afghanistan. It is also the second time Rafales need to fly only in daylight and have Mirage 2000s do target designation.
Thats pretty damn funny stuff right there.
I agree on the fashist-part. But I googled the guy and read some of his articles, and its pretty obvious hes not a great fan of Russia to say the least. I especially enjoyed his articles on the war in SO/Georgia last year, and how the Russians invaded this poor and defenceless country on the eve of the Olympic Games. And after overcoming the heroic defence by brute force, comitting war crimes of almost unpresidented scale to its poppulation etc, etc.
Well he can’t be that biased then, I think most of the planet thought the same, at least those in the West.
MFI flew a grand total of two flights.
Are you sure, that seems pointless from a test plane point of view, Do you have a source?
The best way to avoid being shot down is to avoid being detected.
And that is not easy for the Typhoon to accomplish in a high threat enviroment at all.
The Russians don’t have a problem with the F-35 at all, for 2 reasons:
1) F-22 is the real benchmark to emulate
2) S-300PMU
S-300PMU carries out ground attack missions deep into enemy territory?
I don’t understand your comment.
