It wasn’t me who claimed that and I indeed told you that TVC is still useful at higher speeds and ofcourse altitudes (the latter one I didn’t mention in the last post), but not to the same extend as at lower speeds. So tell me what are the turn rates of the F-22 or basically other TVC equipped fighters at subsonic and supersonic speeds in comparison to non TVC equipped designs!

Seriously though, it is well known that TVC is very usefull for high alt high speed turning on the Raptor, hence my picking up on the statement by ‘Typhoon1’ as incorrect where he stated “firstly you have to assume its medium to low subsonic speeds as it wont have much effect on turn rate beyond that”

For someone who claims to be intelligent you certainly hide it well. Maybe you could enlighten us and explain the numerous advantages of the Eurocanards over the F-35 in air to air combat. (Is that specific enough? Wouldn’t want to confuse you.)

Well, you have to provide data that would support the F-35 is not as agile in a WVR Fight as the aircraft you listed……………thus far I’ve seen nothing to support such a claim.

Its probably based on the “looks more boxy” school of thought at a guess.

Considering the prices the Russians have asked fpr the latest versions of the SU and MiG-35 / MiG-29K recently, I can believe that they can built a plane that can match or beat F-35, but I can not believe that they can built it for much less money.

Logic would suggest alot more money then the F-35 took or at least equal if we consider the finances spent on the lift fan versions of the 35 too. Reason being is that Russia, apart from having a few scraps of a 117 had to do all the R&D work themselves for the stealth aspect, the sensor fusion again same thing as they ddn’t have anything to work from as Lockheed did from previous aircraft. It would be interesting to see what the expenditure is for the PAK-FA but theres fat chance of that ever happening.

They are not broke in the sense that they have zero money, but they are broke regarding fighter purchases in the sense that they have more important spending in the next two decades. They are well-served with the F-16s for a long while.

I’ve been born there, I still have family there, we still have friends there, I’m going over there several times a year.

Do you know how people live there? Have you got any clue what the country looks like? There are other things they have to straighten out before being at the cutting edge of military aviation should be any concern of theirs.

Don’t be shocked if in fact they don’t buy the F-35 for the next 20 years.

I couldn’t care less if they do buy F-35’s or not to be frank about it and yes i agree thier economy is not doing great, however its an outright lie to say that Poland is broke as it is not, it really is as simple as that.

And you are who to judge that? Ever been closer to Poland than 1000 miles away?

What part of ‘I will post it later’ do you fail to understand? Do you automatically take those who disagree with you as liars?
